Spin-dependent exciton-exciton interaction potential in two- and three-dimensional semiconductors under excitation

Analytical expressions for the exciton-exciton interaction potentials have been approximately derived in both 2D and 3D materials exhibiting explicit dependences on exciton momentum difference, momentum transfer, electron-hole effective mass ratio and two-exciton state spin symmetry. Numerical calculations show that the character of the exciton-exciton interaction is determined by all of the above-mentioned dependences.
