| Tóm tắt | Electrochemical biosensing has emerged as a powerful technique for detecting biomolecules with high sensitivity and selectivity. Polymers offer versatility in sensor design due to their biocompatibility, flexibility, and ease of functionalization. They facilitate the immobilization of biomolecules, improving the sensor's stability and response. Metal nanomaterials, such as gold, silver, and Ni-based, play a crucial role in enhancing the stability, conductivity, and electron transfer kinetics of the sensor interface. Conventionally, these materials are synthesized through distinct methods, followed by subsequent immobilization on the electrode surface using a binder. However, this procedure can potentially impede sensor performance by introducing adverse effects such as increased electrode mass, reduced charge transport rate, and material denaturation. Here I present one-step, facile, fast, and low-cost methods to directly synthesize nanomaterials on the electrode surface for electrochemical biosensing. |
