Organizational Structure and Operations

• The leadership of the General Management Office consists of a Head and Deputy Heads who assist the Head. If the office has between 7 to 9 employees, one Deputy Head is appointed. If there are 10 or more employees, no more than two Deputy Heads may be appointed.
• The Head of the General Management Office is appointed and dismissed by the Director of the Institute of Physics after receiving written approval from the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology. The Head is responsible to the Director for all activities of the General Management Office.
• The Deputy Head(s) is appointed and dismissed by the Director of the Institute of Physics based on the recommendation of the Head and after obtaining written approval from the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.
• The Deputy Head(s) is assigned specific responsibilities by the Head and is accountable to the Head for the assigned tasks.
• In the absence of the Head, a Deputy Head is authorized to act on behalf of the Head in leading and managing the office’s activities.
• The leadership of the General Management Office is authorized to sign documents on behalf of the Director of the Institute of Physics in accordance with state regulations.
• The Head of the General Management Office is entrusted by the Director to manage and utilize the office’s facilities and personnel to carry out professional duties.
