Overview

The 49th Vietnam Conference on Theoretical Physics (VCTP-49) will be held from 30 July 2024 to 2 August 2024 in Hue city, Vietnam.

The VCTP-49 is organized by the Institute of Physics – Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (IOP-VAST) under the auspices of the Vietnam Theoretical Physics Society (VTPS). It is sponsored by the International Centre of Physics (ICP) at IOP-VAST, and the Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics (APCTP) (Pohang, Korea)

The VCTP, formerly known as NCTP, has been an annual activity of VTPS since 1976. The VCTP is aimed to be an international conference for physicists in Vietnam, in the region and worldwide. Our mission is to foster scientific exchanges and to promote a high-standard level of research and education in Vietnam and in South East Asia.

The conference will cover topics of theoretical and computational physics in the following fields:

• Particle, nuclear, and astrophysics
• Molecular physics, quantum optics and quantum information
• Condensed matter physics
• Soft matter, biological and interdisciplinary physics.

The conference also opens a book bazaar table, where participants can exhibit their books. Those, who are interested in this activity, please send the book title and summary of the book's content to the conference secretariat.

Online registration for the conference is open from 12 April 2024 to 15 June 2024. Abstract submission deadline is 15 June 2024.

Bên cạnh các hoạt động chính thức, hội nghị còn có một phiên báo cáo vệ tinh thử nghiệm dành riêng cho học sinh phổ thông Việt Nam. Phiên báo cáo này là phiên báo cáo treo kết hợp với trình bày miệng vắn tắt về nghiên cứu trong thời gian 5 phút cho mỗi báo cáo. Các báo cáo đăng ký của học sinh phổ thông sẽ được ban chương trình của hội nghị tuyển chọn trình bày trong phiên báo cáo vệ tinh thử nghiệm này. Chủ đề nghiên cứu cho báo cáo là toàn bộ lĩnh vực vật lý, nhưng các báo cáo thuộc lĩnh vực vật lý lý thuyết sẽ được ưu tiên tuyển chọn. Học sinh phổ thông quan tâm tham gia cần đăng ký tiêu đề, tóm tắt báo cáo, thư giới thiệu của giáo viên chủ nhiệm, của giáo viên hướng dẫn nghiên cứu, và cam kết trách nhiệm của cha mẹ học sinh về an toàn cũng như chi phí tham gia cho học sinh trong thời gian tham gia hội nghị cũng như thông tin liên lạc với gia đình. Tiêu đề và tóm tắt báo cáo cần đăng ký trong mục Abstract submission, các hồ sơ còn lại cần gửi đến ban thư ký hội nghị trước ngày15 tháng 6 năm 2024.
