ProgrammeP.22  Poster, VCTP48 Date: Tuesday, 1 August 2023 Time: 08:30  10:00 Revisiting the degeneracy in the neutrino oscillation parametersNguyen Thi Hien (1,2), Cao Van Son (2), Phan To Quyen (2,3) (1) University of Science and Technology of Ha Noi (2) Institute For Interdisciplinary Research in Science and Education (IFIRSE) (3) Graduate University of Science and Technology Neutrino massiveness and leptonic mixing are solely discernible evidence for new physics beyond the Standard Model of elementary particles, as revealed by the wellestablished quantum mechanical phenomenon known as neutrino oscillation. The neutrino experiment typically measures oscillation probabilities as a function of various parameters, which include three mixing angles, one CPviolation phase, and two masssquared splittings. The problem is that extracting parameters from probability is not unique and, due to parameter degeneracy, can result in numerous solutions. In this work, we look at the isoprobability curves to revisit the degeneracy among neutrino oscillation parameters. We then derive analytical formulas in order to represent these curves.
