Information for foreign participants

The National Conference on Theoretical Physics (NCTP) is an annual activity of the Vietnamese Theoretical Physics Society (VTPS) with the aim to exchange new research results and discuss latest developments in theoretical physics and related fields.

The 38th National Conference on Theoretical Physics (NCTP-38) will be held in Sandy Beach Resort, Da Nang from 29 July 2013 to 1 August 2013.

The conference will be conducted in Vietnamese and English. Selected papers will be published in a special issue of journal Communications in Physics.

Topics

1. High energy physics, elementary particles, nuclear and astrophysics
2. Atomic and molecular physics, quantum optics, quantum information
3. Condensed matter physics (electron systems, bulk materials, low-dimensional systems, nano structures etc.)
4. Soft matter, biological and interdisciplinary physics.

The program includes invited talks (30 minutes), oral contributed talks (20 minutes) and poster presentations. Poster should be presented on one A0 size paper with portrait orientation.

Important dates

• Deadline for registration and abstract submission: 31 May 2013
• Notification of abstract acceptance: 15 June 2013
• Early fee payment: 1 July 2013
• Deadline for full paper submission: 30 September 2013

Registration

Online registration and abstract submission will be open on 1 March 2013 through 31 May 2013.

After registration, you need to pay a conference fee. The conference fee includes attendance to all conference sessions, conference documents, coffee breaks and lunch buffets.

Exchange rates: 20,800 VND for 1 USD; 27,500 VND for 1 EUR.

Notes:

• If you cancel your registration at least one week before the workshop starts, we will reimburse you 50% of the fee you have paid.
