Overview

The 3rd International Workshop on Theoretical and Computational Physics: Complex Systems and Interdisciplinary Physics (IWTCP-3) will be held from 27-30 July 2015 in the city of Da Lat, in association with the 40th National Conference on Theoretical Physics (NCTP-40).

The workshop is co-organized by the Institute of Physics – Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (IOP-VAST), Dalat University (DLU) and Dalat Nuclear Research Institute (NRI), under the support of the Vietnam Theoretical Physics Society (VTPS). The workshop is also an external activity of the Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics (APCTP).

Our mission is to foster scientific exchanges between the Vietnamese theoretical and computational physics community and world-wide scientists as well as to promote high-standard level of research and education activities for young physicists in the country.

The IWTCP-3 will be focusing on topics of Complex Systems and Interdisciplinary Physics that include:

• Complex materials
• Condensed matter and soft matter
• Physics of excited states
• Quantum phase transitions
• Topological insulators
• Biomolecules
• Living systems
• Econophysics
• etc.

The IWTCP-3 and NCTP-40 will be held in parallel at the same conference site. Participants of the workshop are free to attend the conference and vice versa.

Registration for the conference and the workshop is open from 1 April 2015 to 19 June 2015. Abstract submission deadline is 12 June 2015.
