D'ray Sap Waterfall (Buon Ma Thuot)

The 2nd International Workshop on Theoretical and Computational Physics (IWTCP-2) will be held on July 28 – July 31, 2014 in Buon Ma Thuot, a major city on the Central Highlands of Vietnam.

The IWTCP-2 is an activity of the Vietnamese Theoretical Physics Society (VTPS) organized in association with the 39th National Conference on Theoretical Physics (NCTP-39), the most well-known annual scientific forum dedicated to the dissemination of the latest development in the field of theoretical physics within the country.

The IWTCP-2 is also an External Activity of the Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics (APCTP).

The main IWTCP motivation is to foster scientific exchanges between the Vietnamese theoretical and computational physics community and world-wide scientists and to strengthen ties between the theory and the experiment, as well as to promote high-standard level of research and education activities for young physicists in the country.

The IWTCP-2 will be focusing on particle physics, nuclear physics and astrophysics. The topics of the workshop have been selected to meet the highest interests of current research activities in Vietnam and in the same time strongly connected to advanced aspects of theoretical and computational physics at international level.

The IWTCP-2 program will include interesting and fruitful invited talks presented by leading experts in the world and contributed oral and poster sessions.

IWTCP-2 and NCTP-39 will be organized in parallel at the same conference site. Participants of the conference are free to attend the workshop and vice versa.
