| Abstract | Complex biological processes such as cell regeneration, ion flux in voltage-gated channels, glycolysis, and circadian rhythm exhibit protein oscillations. These processes can in turn be treated as stochastic processes and be analyzed using white noise path integration. It is observable that under the influence of a fractional Brownian noise, entropy rate is minimized at initial time due to superdiffusion and at long time due to subdiffusion. On the other hand, when the Brownian noise is exponentially-modified, the memory length determines the states at which the entropy rate peaks at a long time. |
