The 12th International Conference on Photonics and Applications (ICPA-12)
With the permission of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, the Institute of Physics, in cooperation with the International Center for Physics, the Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnam Physics Society, the Institute of Molecular Photonics, CNRS, France, the Laser Engineering Institute, Osaka University, Japan, the Advanced Photonics Research Institute, GIST, South Korea, and several other scientific organizations both domestic and international, successfully organized the 12th International Conference on Photonics and Applications and the 12th National Conference on Optical Spectroscopy in Con Dao, Ba Ria - Vung Tau from September 28 to October 1, 2022.
The conference, held biennially, attracted many leading scientists from around the world and Vietnam in the fields of Optical Spectroscopy, Photonics, and Quantum Optics. This year's conference welcomed more than 200 delegates, including over 40 international participants from ten countries such as Japan, South Korea, France, Russia, Poland, Belarus, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Laos. The conference featured 170 presentations, including 65 oral presentations and 105 poster presentations.
The conference provided an opportunity for both domestic and international scientists to share the latest scientific results in optics, spectroscopy, quantum optics, nanostructured materials spectroscopy, and applications of optics, spectroscopy, and lasers. It also facilitated discussions on future research plans and potential collaborations between research groups and organizations both within and outside Vietnam.
