The International Centre of Physics (ICP) was established in 2018 as a Category 2 Centre under the auspices of UNESCO (institutions that serve to contribute to the achievement of UNESCO’s strategic objects) by the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology and is associated with the Institute of Physics.


The International Centre of Physics (ICP) in Vietnam has been officially launched, along side the International Centre of Research and Postgraduate Training in Mathematics (ICRTM). The centers were inaugurated by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology on October 29, 2021.
The main missions of ICP are to promote international collaboration, support advanced research and enhance graduate training in the field of physics in Vietnam and the surrounding region.
