Weather

Ho Chi Minh city is in the South of Vietnam that has a tropical climate. As the last month of rainy season, the weather in November is more pleasant than it in some previous months with less rain amount and lower humidity. The average temperature is about 28 °C. It is still rather hot during the daytime, but really pleasant at night. However, with one third of days in November experiencing rainy weather, umbrella and raincoat are still good friends of participants.

Travels

The overseas participants are recommended to reach Ho Chi Minh city at the Tan Son Nhat International Airport. The distance from the Tan Son Nhat International Airport to HCM city center is about 10 km. The local transport from Tan Son Nhat International Airport to the HCM city center is recommended by Taxis (about 10 USD).

Visa Requirement

All foreign participants must be in possession of a passport with valid visa. Details are available from the official website of the Vietnamese Embassy in your country. Please get an invitation letter of the ICPA 7 organizing committee in order to apply for one entry visa at the Vietnamese Consulate / Embassy in your country. A one-month visa-free visit is applicable to citizens of Japan, Republic of Korea and almost of ASEAN countries.
