AbstractCoarsening dynamics theory has been developed to describe the phase-ordering kinetics following a quench in a wide range of systems. Frustration, on the other hand, has long been among the most challenging issues in condensed matter physics. Magnetic frustration gives rise to a huge degeneracy in the classical ground-state manifold of the system, leading to exotic phases such as spin ice and spin liquids. However, so far the presence of geometrical frustration has often been diagnosed by its susceptibility fingerprint in thermodynamic measurements. In this talk, I will discuss how the effect of geometrical frustration on the coarsening dynamics can be studied with a mixture of ultracold bosonic and fermionic atoms. Ref: arxiv:1609.03015
