Collaborative Research Opportunities

One of the key missions of the UCSF Resource for Biocomputing, Visualization, and Informatics (RBVI) is to provide collaborative research opportunities for solving a wide range of genomic and molecular recognition problems within the complex sequence->structure->function triad. (See Overview of the RBVI.) Collaborative projects bring together the expertise we have in developing computational and visualization methods with outside scientists who have expertise in a particular biomedical discipline. Such efforts often lead to joint publications. While our resources are of course limited, we welcome inquires from scientists interested in collaborating. Inquiries should be directed to Dr. Thomas Ferrin. It would be most helpful to include a synopsis of your project in your e-mail message.
