There are several openings in our research group for Postdoctoral Associates in the area of computational biology and chemistry. Applicants are encouraged to apply for support from various sources (see list below) although independent support is not a requirement. Specific areas of research include:

• Better alignments and profiles for functional annotation of the genomic sequences
• Flexible protein-protein and protein-peptide docking.
• Computational methods for drug design, docking and ligand ranking.
• Mathematical models of cells, derivation of biochemical pathways.
• Prediction of protein three-dimensional structure by global energy optimization.
• Force field development
• Predicting properties of small molecules
