MDL® Discovery Experiment Management
MDL® Discovery Predictive Science
MDL® Central Library
Combine the industry-standard data management capabilities of Oracle with MDL's unparalleled expertise in handling chemical information: The result is MDL Central Library, a server-based system that supports the day-to-day activities of combinatorial chemists. Central Library integrates commercial and corporate chemical structure databases, allowing you to access reagent databases, automatically process reagents into libraries, and register and manage the libraries you create. Reagents or synthesized products can be accessed using MDL ISIS/Base, MDL's chemical database management system; MDL ISIS for Excel, MDL's spreadsheet tool; MDL Project Library, the native client for Central Library; and MDL Reagent Selector, MDL's application for selecting and classifying reagents.Latest version: 2.2
Highlights:
Integrated data access: Central Library can search the MDL ISIS chemical structure databases and standard commercial databases, such as the MDL Available Chemicals Directory.
Search corporate molecule databases: Central Library uses the same RCG2 database format as MDL ISIS/Host and MDL Relational Chemistry Server (formerly ISIS/Direct).
Combinatorial methodology: Central Library supports commonly used combinatorial methods, including arrayed, spatially addressable synthesis, encoded mixture synthesis, and deconvolution.
Manage library information in Oracle or in molecule databaseseither way, you benefit from MDL's superior chemical structure representation and searching algorithms.
A library overlap batch application program that can:
- Compare two virtual libraries (generic structures) directly
- Compute the degree of overlap
- Enumerate discrete structures that are common to both virtual libraries or that are unique to either library
- Output these to an SDfile or database
- Propagate data from the virtual library to each enumerated discrete structure
