In this work, we propose a new class of quantum states obtained by adding photons to both modes of two-mode displaced Fock states, referred to as two-mode photon-added displaced Fock states (TMPADFSs). The non-Gaussian and nonclassical properties of the proposed states are investigated using the Wigner function, two-mode squeezing, and higher-order two-mode antibunching. The degree of nonclassicality is characterised by the Wigner-function negativity and its negative volume, while squeezing and antibunching are analysed to clarify the role of photon addition in enhancing the nonclassical properties of the states. The results show that the proposed states exhibit strong non-Gaussianity together with pronounced nonclassical effects, including squeezing and higher-order antibunching. Compared with the original two-mode displaced Fock states, photon addition significantly increases the Wigner-function negativity and negative volume, while enhancing the squeezing effects and antibunching. These findings demonstrate that combining photon addition and displacement operations provides an effective approach to enhancing the non-Gaussianity and nonclassical properties of two-mode quantum states. Keywords: two-mode photon-added displaced Fock states; Two-mode displaced Fock states; Non-Gaussianity; Nonclassicality; Wigner function; Higher-order squeezing; Higher-order antibunching.
