INFLUENCE OF LASER WAVELENGTH ON THE CROSS-SHAPED STRUCTURE IN THE NONSEQUENTIAL DOUBLE IONIZATION OF NOBLE GAS ATOM

In this study, we investigate the wavelength dependence of the cross-shaped structure in the nonsequential double ionization of noble gas atoms using the classical ensemble model. By introducing characteristic quantities associated with recollision dynamics, we analyze the microscopic mechanisms governing electron-electron correlation. The results reveal that the cross-shaped structure in the correlated two-electron momentum distribution persists across all noble gas atoms, originating from recollision-induced excitation with subsequent ionization. Furthermore, this structural feature gradually vanishes with increasing laser wavelength.
