ProgrammeP.60 -- Posters, VCTP-51 Date: Thursday, 6 August 2026> Time: 09:30 - 10:30> Spin–Valley Hall Transport in Jacutingaite under Finite Temperature ConditionsDo Muoi Department of Physics, Pham Van Dong University We theoretically investigate spin–Hall and valley–Hall transport in monolayer jacutingaite under off-resonant circularly polarized light and a perpendicular electric field using a low-energy massive Dirac model within linear response theory. At zero temperature, both conductivities exhibit quantized plateau structures, reflecting the topological nature of the band spectrum. The optical field effectively renormalizes the Dirac mass, enabling tunable transitions between different Hall regimes. While the spin–Hall effect arises from intrinsic spin–orbit coupling, the valley–Hall effect appears only when inversion symmetry is broken. At finite temperatures, thermal broadening smooths the plateau features and reduces their magnitude, though key topological signatures remain robust near charge neutrality. We also show that circularly polarized light alone cannot induce a finite valley–Hall response without inversion symmetry breaking. These results demonstrate that the interplay of optical driving, electric fields, and temperature provides an effective route to control spin and valley transport in jacutingaite, highlighting its potential for spintronic and valleytronic applications.
