ProgrammeP.37 -- Posters, VCTP-51 Date: Tuesday, 4 August 2026> Time: 09:30 - 10:30> Excited Exciton States and Hydrogenic Convergence in Anisotropic Two-Dimensional MaterialsLe Hoang Viet, Le Do Dang Khoa, Le Van Hoang Ho Chi Minh City University of Education The excitonic energy spectrum in anisotropic two-dimensional monolayers has been extensively studied in recent years because of its fundamental and technological importance. Previous investigations have indicated that highly excited excitonic states tend to converge toward the spectrum of the two-dimensional hydrogen atom. Nevertheless, for anisotropic systems, the use of an effective Keldysh potential provides a computationally efficient framework for theoretical analysis. In this work, we examine the effective Coulomb potential and compare its results with those obtained from the Keldysh potential in the high-energy regime. Particular attention is devoted to the excited-state structure of excitons, aiming to clarify the applicability of the effective potential description in anisotropic two-dimensional materials.
