Do Phenikaa Institute for Advanced Study, Phenikaa University In this talk, I will present recent results on investigating the stability of de Sitter solution in four novel higher-order gravity models, namely the Einstein-Grisaru-Zanon gravity, Starobinsky-Grisaru-Zanon gravity, generalized Einsteinian cubic gravity, and Starobinsky-generalized Einsteinian cubic gravity. These investigations are an important criterion to determine which phase of universe would be compatible with these fourth-order gravity models. Furthermore, we are able, thanks to the obtained results, to identify potential extensions of the well-known Starobinsky inflationary model that may resolve its tension with the latest Atacama Cosmology Telescope data.
