ProgrammeP.17 -- Posters, VCTP-51 Date: Tuesday, 4 August 2026> Time: 09:30 - 10:30> Non-Gaussianity and nonclassicality of generalized superpositions of displaced Fock statesNguyen Thi Thu Thuy (1,2), Ho Sy Chuong (1), Truong Minh Duc (2) (1) Dong Nai University, 09 Le Quy Don, Dong Nai City; (2) University of Education, Hue University, Hue City In this work, we introduce a class of quantum states constructed as generalized superpositions of single-mode displaced Fock states (GSDFSs) with different photon numbers, displacement amplitudes, and relative phases. The non-Gaussianity of the states is investigated through the phase-space behavior of the Wigner function, while their nonclassical properties are examined using higher orders of Hillery squeezing and antibunching criteria. Furthermore, the degree of nonclassicality is quantified by the volume of the negative part of the Wigner function. The results show that the state parameters significantly influence the interference structure in phase space and the manifestation of nonclassical effects. For suitable parameter regimes, the states exhibit pronounced non-Gaussianity together with a high degree of nonclassicality. These findings provide further insight into the role of quantum interference arising from the superposition of single-mode displaced Fock states in generating and enhancing the nonclassical properties of non-Gaussian quantum states.
