Enhancement of two-mode sum squeezing and quantum entanglement through two-photon addition and two-photon subtraction in Pair coherent states

This work investigates the nonclassicality of the two-photon-added and two-photon-subtracted pair coherent state (TPA-TPS-PCS) through Hillery's two-mode sum squeezing and entanglement criteria. Our results show that TPA-TPS-PCS exhibits two-mode sum squeezing, whereas the original pair coherent state (PCS) does not. The degree of squeezing is enhanced with increasing degeneracy parameter (q). Furthermore, TPA-TPS-PCS displays stronger entanglement than PCS, with both the depth and the region of entanglement increasing for larger values of (q). These findings demonstrate that two-photon addition and two-photon subtraction can significantly enhance the nonclassicality of PCS by generating two-mode sum squeezing and strengthening entanglement resources in two-mode optical systems.
