Metallic nanoparticles support plasmon resonances, where the resonance wavelengths and the local field en-hancements (LFEs) depend sensitively on the geometrical shapes. In this work, we propose a core-shell nanoparticle consisting of Fe3O4 core and Ag shell (Fe3O4@Ag nanoparticle). We theoretically study absorption properties of Fe3O4@Ag nanoparticles based on the Mie theory. There are two maxima at around 380 nm and near-infrared regime in the absorption spectrum of the nanoparticle. Presenter: Do Chi Nghia |
