OverviewThe 40th National Conference on Theoretical Physics (NCTP-40) will be held from 27-29 July 2015 in the city of Da Lat, to mark the 40th anniversary of the National Conference on Theoretical Physics (NCTP), which was organized for the first time in Da Lat in August 1976. This year conference is co-organized by the Institute of Physics – Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (IOP-VAST), Dalat University (DLU), and Dalat Nuclear Research Institute (NRI), under the support of the Vietnam Theoretical Physics Society (VTPS). For 40 years NCTP has been an annual activity of VTPS, and has become the most well-known annual scientific forum dedicated to the dissemination of the latest development in the field of theoretical physics within the country.
Our mission is to foster scientific exchanges within the Vietnamese theoretical and computational physics community as well as with international scientific community, and to promote a high-standard level of research and education in Vietnam.
The conference will host topics of the following fields:
The NCTP-40 program is also aimed towards the celebration of UNESCO's International Year of Light and Light-based Technologies (IYL 2015). Additionally, NCTP-40 will be organised in association with the 3rd International Workshop on Theoretical and Computational Physics: Complex Systems and Interdisciplinary Physics (IWTCP-3) at the same conference site. Participants of the conference are free to attend the workshop and vice versa. Registration for the conference and the workshop is open from 1 April 2015 to 19 June 2015. Abstract submission deadline is 12 June 2015. We are looking forward to welcoming you in the conference and the workshop. The Organizing Committee.
