The 5th Conference of the Asian Consortium on
COMPUTATIONAL MATERIALS SCIENCE (ACCMS-5)

Hanoi, September 7-11, 2009

The ACCMS5 will include the conference sessions and a short course

The scope of the ACCMS-5 conference ranges from fundamental computational methodology (density functional theory and beyond, quantum mechanical based interatomic potentials, molecular dynamic and Monte-Carlo simulation of thermodynamic and kinetic properties at large length and time scales, phase field method of micro-structural simulation…) to its industrial application of different materials properties. The ACCMS-5 conference is delivered in a mix of keynotes, invited, contributed oral presentations and as well as strongly high-lighted poster sessions. The Conference sessions are planned for 3 days, with 5 sessions per day in average.

In association with the ACCMS-5 conference, the two-day courses on state of the art of advanced CMS codes for which the tutorial lectures will be given by international experts in the field, is held in Hanoi. The short course is planned for two days, with 8 hours per day.
