49th Vietnam Conference on Theoretical Physics (VCTP-49), Huế, 30/7-2/8/2024

We are pleased to announce the 49th Vietnam Conference on Theoretical Physics (VCTP-49) 30 July - 2 August 2024, Hue city, Vietnam

The VCTP-49 is organized by the Institute of Physics, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (IOP-VAST) under the support of the Vietnam Theoretical Physics Society (VTPS). It is sponsored by the International Centre of Physics (ICP) at IOP-VAST, and the Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics (APCTP) (Pohang, Korea).

The VCTP, formerly known as NCTP, has been an annual activity of VTPS since 1976. The VCTP is aimed to be an international conference for physicists in Vietnam, in the region and worldwide. Our mission is to foster scientific exchanges and to promote a high-standard level of research and education in Vietnam and in South East Asia.

The conference will cover topics of theoretical and computational physics from the following fields:
- Particle, nuclear, and astro- physics
- Molecular physics, quantum optics and quantum information
- Condensed matter physics
- Soft matter, biological and interdisciplinary physics.

The conference also opens a book bazaar table, where participants can exhibit their books. Those, who are interested in this activity, please send the book title and summary of the book's content to the conference secretariat.

In addition, there is also an experimental satellite session for high school students in Vietnam. Detailed information can be found in the VCTP-49 website.

Online registration for the conference is open from 12 April 2024 to 15 June 2024. Abstract submission deadline is 15 June 2024.

During this VCTP-49, VTPS will hold a general meeting. All VTPS members are welcome to attend the meeting.
