Trip to the Ancient Capital Hoa Lu

Hoa Lu - Ancient Capital, 100 km far from Hanoi, the stone-walled royal citadel, is located in Truong Yen Commune, Hoa Lu District. Hoa Lu used to be the economic, political and cultural center of Dai Co Viet (Great Viet) – the first centralized feudal state in Vietnam which existed from 968 to 1010 C.E.). It is also the native land of 3 royal dynasties: the Dinh, and the earlier Le and Ly dynasties.

Not far from Hoa Lu is Tam Coc (Three caves) formed due to the transformation of geology, seawater and rainwater that have worn cliffs in a long period of millions of years. Participants shall take the boat along the tiny canal among the green rice field, and visit Bich Dong (Green grotto) located in the Five Musical Instruments (Ngu Nhac Son) mountain range.

07.30: Pick up at the lobby, departure to Ninh Binh. In the morning, Visit the Dinh & Le temples.
12.00: Have lunch at Anh Dzung restaurant or Legend Hotel 4* After lunch, we drive to Tam Coc, a wonderfully tranquil place where we have 2 hour boat cruise to explore the area
16.30: Drive back to Hanoi.
18.30: Arrive in Hanoi
