BioCoRE Tour !

The Online BioCoRE Tour has been created to demonstrate the usage, features and functions of BioCoRE. We encourage you to view all the Tour pages or select only the ones that interest you. As you go through the tour, try clicking on the pictures. Many of them link to more informative pages.
  • First Use -- What happens the first time you use BioCoRE.
  • BioCoRE Login --Access BioCoRE.
  • Control Panel--Instant messaging, notification of BioCoRE events, such as job starts/finishes, people logging in/out, new notebook entries.
  • Main Menu -- Four components of BioCoRE: Workbench, Notebook, Conference and Documents.
  • Submit jobs -- You may submit your jobs to remote servers such as the PSC T3E, or the NCSA Origin 2000.
  • Launch VMD -- Running VMD via BioCoRE.
  • VMD Publish -- You may publish the current state of a VMD session to the notebook. You or others may view it and retrieve that state in a later VMD session.
  • NAMD Configuration File Generator --To efficiently and conveniently Create, Edit, and Modify NAMD configuration files.
  • Chat -- To communicate with others in real-time.
  • Message Board-- Maintains a web accessible record of the various collaboratory events.
  • Website Library-- A collection of web links useful to the group. Links are listed by category. You may add new links, as well as new categories and subcategories.
  • BioFS--There is a list of projects here that you belong to and you can put files in any of these project folders and they will be shared among project members. You also have a private directory that only you can view.
  • User Info--You may update your user information to let others know your role in the project, the task you are currently working on, a long-term schedule, and biographical information about yourself.
  • Starting to use BioCoRE.
You can exit the Tour at any time. And, of course, you may choose to register as a new user or to access BioCoRE.
