MDL® Chime Pro
As a tightly integrated member of MDL's ISIS family of products, MDL Chime Pro lets scientists view chemical structures from within popular Web browsers, Java Applets, and Java applications.
Chime Pro will be of special interest to organic chemists engaged in pharmaceutical, agrochemical, and biotechnology R&D, in industry and academia. It is a particularly valuable tool for scientists specializing in cheminformatics.Using Chime Pro, researchers can easily add structures to their projects, tutorials, newsletters, journals, and presentations published across an intranet or the Internet. With knowledge of Rasmol or CSML scripting, you can even create interactive Web pages.
Chime Pro for Web is a browser plug-in that renders 2D and 3D molecules directly within a Web page. The molecules are "live," meaning they are not just static pictures, but chemical structures that scientists can rotate, reformat, and save in various file formats for use in modeling or database applications. When used with MDL's Chemscape Server or Relational Chemistry Server, Chime Pro also lets scientists perform molecular and spectral structure searches in several industry-standard formats across the wide range of databases accessible through corporate intranets and the Internet.
MDL Chime Pro for Java is a JavaBean component that enables developers to provide chemical structure rendering and visualization in pure Java applications and Applets as well as in Web pages. The JavaBean version lets developers build custom applications integrating different types of data including chemical structures, reactions, 3D models, assay data, inventory data, and excerpts from the chemical literature.
