Dependence of lattice spacing on the temperature and pressure for ordered Cu3Au alloy.

The thermodynamic properties of alloys are studied using the moment method in the statistical dynamics, which allows us to take into account the anharmonicity of thermal lattice vibrations, going beyond the quasi-harmonic approximation. Applying to ordered Cu3Au alloy, we determine the equation of state and lattice spacing in dimensionless polynomial form. Numerical results for the lattice parameter of this alloy in different temperatures and pressures are in good agreement with experiments. Keywords: moment method, effective pair potential.
