In this contribution, we discuss the possibility of using the realistic nucleon-nucleon and nucleon-nucleus potentials in FAGS equations to study the (d,p) reactions. Some preliminary results for d(12C, 12C)d reactions are shown and discussed. [1] C. A. Bertulani, A. S. Kadyrov, A. Kruppa, T. V. Nhan Hao, A. M.
