ProgramO.2 -- Oral, NCTP-42 Date: Monday, 31 July 2017 Time: 11h00 - 11h20 Weak gauge boson pair production at the LHCLe Duc Ninh Institute For Interdisciplinary Research in Science and Education (IFIRSE) Weak gauge boson pair production is an important process at the LHC because it probes the non-Abelian structure of electroweak interactions and it is a background process for many new physics searches. In this talk, after a review of the status of diboson production at the LHC, we will focus on the case of WZ production taking into account the effects of next-to-leading order electroweak corrections.
