ProgrammeP.28 -- Poster, ANSWCCMS-2023 Date: Tuesday, 7 November 2023> Time: 13:00 - 14:30> TEMPERATURE AND ILLUMINATION EFFECTS ON TRANSPORT PROPERTIES OF FeSe/SrTiO3Anan Sutcha, Chonnarong Kaewsai, Suppanut Sangphet and Worawat Meevasana* Suranaree University of Technology Bulk FeSe exhibits a relatively modest transition temperature (Tc) of 9 K as a superconductor. However, when FeSe is in the form of a monolayer film on SrTiO3 (STO), the Tc can dramatically increase to a range of 65 - 109 K. In our study, we employed the molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) technique to create thin films of tetragonal FeSe, composed of 20 monolayers, grown on an STO substrate. The outcomes were subsequently assessed using the van der Pauw technique to determine the material's superconductivity. Within the temperature range of 26 - 300 K, we observed a reduction in resistivity with decreasing temperature. Notably, at 26 K, the resistance value approached nearly zero ohms. An intriguing observation arose when we analyzed the complete IV-curves diagram while illuminating the film with light. The experimental results showcased variations in the IV-curves diagram, along with measured voltage reversals. This phenomenon poses an interesting query regarding the underlying mechanism responsible for this intriguing occurrence. Presenter: Sutcha Anan |
