The Institute of Physics, in cooperation with international and domestic scientific institutions,
is organizing the 6th International Conference on Photonics and Applications (ICPA-6)
from 8 to 12 November, 2010 in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The 1st International Meeting on Photonics and Applications was successfully held at Hanoi,
Vietnam in 2000. This is the Sixth in the ICPA series organized every 02 years.
It is also an event in celebration of the 1000th anniversary of Hanoi, the Capital of Vietnam.
The scientific objective of the Meeting is to provide a forum for interaction involving world-renowned researchers
so as to stimulate and enhance interest in Photonics, Optics, Lasers, Spectroscopy … around the Asia Pacific region.

In association with the ICPA -6, an international college (for which the tutorial lectures will be given by
international experts) will be held in Hanoi from 2 to 5 November 2010.
The purpose of this four -day courses is for training young physicists and/or students of
the regional countries and Vietnam in the field of photonics and applications.
