We present a model of Kerr-like nonlinear coupler, in which external coherent field is modeled by white noise. For such a system we derive a set of coupled stochastic integro-differential equations that can be averaged exactly. This result leads to some exactly analytical expression for the probability amplitudes of n-photon Fock states. In addition, we can see that the system is also able to generate Bell-like states and, as a consequence, the coupler discussed behaves as a two-qubit system. We also analyse the effects of dissipation on entanglement of formation parameterised by concurrence and compare these results with that obtained previously by other authors. As a interesting result, initially for a period of time the entanglement is enlarged when the chaotic parameter increases.

Presenter: Doan Quoc Khoa
