Buôn Ma Thuột

The 39th National Conference on Theoretical Physics (NCTP-39) will be held on 28-31 July 2014 in Buon Ma Thuot, a major city on the Central Highlands of Vietnam.

It is co-organized by the Institute of Physics – Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (IOP-VAST), College of Science - Vietnam National University, Hanoi (HUS-VNU), and Vietnam National University at Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM).

NCTP is an activity of the Vietnam Theoretical Physics Society (VTPS) organised annually since 1976, and has become the most well-known annual scientific forum dedicated to the dissemination of the latest development in the field of theoretical physics within the country.

The NCTP-39 will be organised in association with the 2nd International Workshop on Theoretical and Computational Physics: Modern methods and latest results in particle physics, nuclear physics and astrophysics (IWTCP-2). The latter is aimed to foster scientific exchanges between the Vietnamese theoretical and computational physics community and world-wide scientists as well as to promote high-standard level of research and education activities for young physicists.

NCTP-39 and IWTCP-2 will be organized in parallel at the same conference site. Participants of the conference are free to attend the workshop and vice versa.
