General Information
The third school on physics at the LHC (LHCS-3) will be organized in Quy Nhon (a city on the central coast of Vietnam ) from 12 - 17 December 2011 by Institute of Physics (IOP), Hanoi and Quynhon University, Quy Nhon. The school is also supported by Rencontres du Vietnam and associated with a France- Vietnam collaboration program, in particular, VAST – CNRS collaboration program, in particle physics.
The LHCS-3 scientific program consists of lectures and exercises lead by experts in the fields of the LHC physics. Seminar sessions where participants can give short talks may be organized.
The school can accept about 15 students from Vietnam and upto 5 students from other countries. The application deadline is 01 November 2011 (Tuesday).
A limited number of students could be invited to attend the CERN summer students program during July and August 2012
