International Workshop on NANOPHYSICS and NANOTECHNOLOGY

Workshop purpose:

Nano -& micro - technologies are emerging as key areas of scientific exploration. Fundamental research issues related to modeling, fabricating and analyzing scaled system exist. These technology areas are maturing and impacting current engineering designs increasing the need for basic understanding of scaled system science. The goals of this workshop are to explore opportunities to expand domestic expertise in nano - & micro - technologies and forge international ties to support the advancement of basic research. The workshop will focus on examining regional and international efforts in nano - & micro- technology, reviewing opportunities of basic research support through international agencies and overviewing basic research efforts and opportunities in Vietnam.
